Picture-perfect El Nido!

I’ve always wanted to visit El Nido but the direct flights going there costs you around 4,000 pesos per way via Air Swift. Though it’s a much more convenient way to go there, the price makes me say no, I won’t pay for a ticket that high for a domestic trip. And since we’re looking for a cheap flight, I searched through Cebu Pacific Air’s website and found a ticket which only costs us around Php 1,500 ++ round trip. Such a pretty sweet deal right? With no hesitations, we immediately book our tickets to Puerto.

Puerto is basically 5-6 hours away from El Nido. Upon arrival in Puerto, we went to a sort-of-van-terminal just outside the airport. Everything was prearranged already, so we just had to wait for the others to fill in the seats. But if you want a private van transfers, you can always do that if you want too but it’s kinda pricey. Anyway, everything was set and we’re off to El Nido around 4 or 5 pm. Half way through our trip, we made a stop over in a carinderia for a quick dinner and “toilet break” before heading to El Nido.

We arrived in El Nido around 20 minutes past the hour of 10pm. We then went to our accommodation to check in and leave our things. We took a quick rest and went out to check the town. While strolling, we were able find the beachfront where all the bars are. This town has a lot of tourist and they’re mostly foreigners.

The town of El Nido!

The following day, woke up with a rainy morning, we had breakfast and went ahead with our combination Tour of A and B. This tour combination is kinda “sulit” since you’ll get to visit more island compared to 1 tour per day. But the downside of this combined tour is that we spent most of our time travelling from one island to another. Nonetheless, it was pretty cool.

Off we go! Tours starts now!

On our 2nd day in El Nido, woke up again with another rainy morning. Imagine that? But this won’t stop us from exploring more of El Nido’s islands. Then again, before the start of the tour, we obviously have to eat breakfast. hahaha! After having that quick meal, went to the port for our Tour C. For this day, we wanted to do the Tour C & D combination. But the group that we had to join only wants Tour C. Since they’re the majority, we had no choice but to go with the flow. For this tour, though it’s only Tour C, we had more time to enjoy the islands compared to the previous day. We also did lots of snorkeling with this tour.

Awesome marine life you’ve got, El Nido!
